Plumbers (Apprenticeship)

Job Description

The Plumber and HVAC Technician Ausbildung Program in Germany offers Indian candidates a structured vocational pathway into Germany’s building services and technical maintenance sector.

This program prepares candidates to work with essential infrastructure systems such as water supply, heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning. Through hands-on training and supervised work, candidates develop practical skills required to install, maintain, and repair mechanical and climate-control systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

The Ausbildung leads to a recognised vocational qualification and provides a clear route to long-term employment in Germany’s skilled trades sector.

Available Roles & Responsibilities

Plumber

  • Install and maintain water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.
  • Repair pipelines, fittings, and related plumbing components.
  • Inspect systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Support maintenance and repair work in buildings and facilities.

 

HVAC Technician

  • Install and service refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment.
  • Ensure systems operate efficiently and meet energy performance standards.
  • Support repair and servicing of climate-control systems.


Eligibility Requirements

  • Age: 18–28 years
  • Qualifications:
    12th pass with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, or
    10th pass with 2-year ITI in a relevant trade
  • Language Proficiency: German language proficiency at B1 level
    (Goethe, TELC, or ÖSD certification only; ECL not accepted)
  • Gender: Open to both male and female candidates



Benefits & Compensation

  • Monthly Training Stipend (Gross):
  • 1st year: €1,048
  • 2nd year: €1,100
  • 3rd year: €1,150
  • Post-completion salary: Starting from €2,100–€2,200 per month (gross)
  • Travel allowance: One-way flight ticket from India to Germany (up to €700).
    The cost is borne by the employer and reimbursed after the candidate reaches Germany.
  • Employment prospects: Skilled plumbers and HVAC technicians are in consistent demand across Germany.
